Please comment on 2 of the following questions...

1) If you could spend the day with the President of the United States, what would you want to talk about?  What are some questions you might ask?

2) Is it easy or difficult for you to admit when you need help from others?  Give an example of a time when you needed help but hesitated to ask for it.  What happened?

3) In what ways do you think technology can improve the effectiveness of leaders, and in what ways do you think it might hinder their ability to lead?

  1. 1) I would ask him how it feels to be a leader and what big responsibilities he has as president. Also how he keeps track of all his stuff. I would ask why did he want to be president and who inspired him?

    1. I would also like to ask that Madelin because how does he keep all of his stuff organized when he probably has a whole lot of papers.

    3. I would think it would be hard to keep track of what he has to do so I think that's a great question

  2. 1) I would want to talk about how he/she is trying to keep the United States happy and also I would want to talk about what are some things that are hard for them to solve and why. What can they do to help leaders by helping them to learn more and understand more about being a leader. What is it like to be an important person or leader?

  3. 2) It is easy to ask for help for me because my friends are very close to me and will understand why I need help. Once I didn't know a question on my challenge pack so I asked one of my friends and she stopped her work and helped me figure out what I did wrong.

  4. 1. I would ask Obama is the job of being the president hard? Is it sometimes boring? How do you get every where you need to make a speech? Are speeches hard to do in front of everybody? I would ask why it is hard or not and why.

    1. I bet it does get a bit boring. Especially when you are doing it for 8 years.

  5. 1. I would want to talk with President Obama about ISIS. Some questions I would like to ask would be:
Why did you want to run for president?
    What is like being president?
Is it scary being the president?

    2. Sometimes hard. It has happened to me plenty of times. Mostly it happens when I don't know what to do.

  6. If I could talk to the president I would say to him or her when you ran for president did you feel you were ready to be such a big leader? Were you a leader when you were a kid?

  7. If I could spend a day with the president I would talk about helping people who need help like single moms who don´t make a lot of money or people that need surgery who do not have enough money. Some of the questions I would ask what he thinks makes a good leader and what quality he is best good at to see what kind of a person are leader is.

  8. 1) If I could spend the day with the president of the US, I would ask him about, maybe how he ended up wanting to be president. I would also ask him how he does all the work all day every day?
    2) I think it is difficult to admit when you need help from others. One time I couldn't get on to the computer but everyone else got on easy so I was embarrass.

    1. It can be difficult to admit you don't know something to someone you don't know well, but if you know them well you know how they will react to it.

  10. # 1 If I could ask the president it would be" Do you get free food because you are the president or I would want to talk about who he wants to be the next president. Do you have to make food or do you have butlers that take care of that. I would ask who was your leader who did you follow to becoming a leader?

  11. 3) Technology can help leaders because they can find stuff that they want to learn about and think about being like that and then they will know a lot about being a leader because they went online and looked it up. It's also not good for leaders because your not using all of your skills and not doing stuff that you know about like when you get asked something it will be your thought and your not taking it.

  12. 3) Technology can improve leaders because, it can give leaders more time to help people out with spelling or math. Also people can do research on great leaders and why they are great leaders to improve there leadership. Leaders might be too into there phone so they won't get as much time to be a leader.

  13. I think it is hard to ask for help because i feel like its such a easy question and everyone knows it and then i don't know because i didn't ask it and get it wrong! so i feel bad for myself for and try to ask next time!

  14. A time when it was difficult to tell someone something was when I accidentally broke something that was someone else's that they worked hard on I did not want to tell I thought it would hurt there feelings that I broke it but it would also hurt there feelings that I did not tell them so I did and they did not get mad at me.

  15. #3. I think that technology would make make a leader good because it gives the news about today. I think it is bad for leaders because some of it is fake. Some examples are They want to tell someone about the race for president. They need to know who is winning the race to tell somebody true information. This is internet technology. You can look stuff up on the web.

  16. 2) It is difficult for me to ask for help when everybody goes through it easily and I am the only one who didn't finish yet. It makes me feel embarrassed and then it's really hard to ask for help. When everybody was done with their social studies test except for me, I needed help but was scared to ask so I worked on it for a little bit but then asked for help. When the teacher came to help and explained it, I understood it much better. Even if you're embarrassed it's always good to ask for help.

  17. # 3 I think internet improves being a leader because you most likely have to learn stuff and see how to become a leader. And you could use a computer to find that out. A downside to the internet is you might not get good information so that means using sites that are like . gov so that came from the government so you can trust that site.
